I came across this really great article in the Tatler on Dr Michael Prager and the treatments he uses to improve his patients skin.  I especially like what he mentions about the dermaroller.

Loss of youthful facial proportions
The difference between a youthful face and an older face is the loss of volume. A youthful face has full cheeks and a narrow chin region. Replace a bit of the missing volume with a dermal filler around the temple, under-eye and cheek area, and after a while you will regain your youthful proportions.

Facial sagging
Another difference between a young face and a more mature one is the absence or presence ofjowls. Saggy cheeks are one of the most ageing features we can develop. We need to look at how the face moves – most people who develop jowls at an early age have strong muscles around the chin and neck area. By relaxing these muscles, similarly to the way in which we treat frown lines, we can achieve a great lift and prevent future sagginess.

Wrinkles and loss of skin elasticity
The earliest signs of ageing are loss of skin elasticity, enlarged skin pores, uneven pigmentation and wrinkles. After a decade of attempting to treat the skin with Radio Frequency, lPl lasers or other forms of machinery, we have f inally found something that really works: the Combined Dermaroller, initially used for the treatment of acne scars in Asian skin. lt is ideal for skin rejuvenation, stretch marks, sun damage and many other skin issues related to loss of collagen.

Excess fat and cellulite
The most successful non-invasive treatment for stubborn fat is a combination of ultrasound and vacuum massage. The ultrasound breaks down the fat cells’large triglyceride molecules into individual free fatty acids. The fat cells release masses of fat once the circulation and lymphatic systems are stimulated through vacuum massage and lymphatic drainage. I use a completely non-invasive system called lipoSmooth. Anything from five to 15 inches can be lost after six one-hour sessions. Two weeks is all it takes, making LipoSmooth essential preparation for your next beach holiday.
